I was a bit overweight not so long ago but alongside Ronald, I could consider myself skinny

Alongside Wena, I was obviously far from looking skinny. My tummy said it all!

Hi Ron, Wena, and all my friends from company A! I miss you all!Thank you all for viewing. I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend.
Happy photo hunting!

Photo Hunt: Delicious

In the Philippines, a party seems incomplete without a roasted pig or lechon baboy:

It’s been more than a year since I had my fill of this delicious lechon baboy and other Filipino dishes. Staring at this picture sure makes me hungry.Thank you for dropping by!
I look forward to staring at your “delicious” photos and drool over it.P.S.
To those who don’t eat pork or to those who don’t eat pork this way, I hope this photo does not offend you in any way. This is simply my favorite food. Thank you for understanding.

Photo Hunt: Light

My parents finally listened to me and put their digital camera into action. But, it’s not always easy to take pictures of Shaynna…

Shaynna in a bad mood:

Shaynna in a light mood:

Yes, she’ll give you good poses if she’s in a light mood.
Taken last week, December 12.
I should remind my parents again to edit the date on the camera.

Thank you very much for dropping by.
Will visit yours when I get back. Another busy Saturday for me.
I hope everyone’s having wonderful holidays!

Photo Hunt: Small

Didn’t have much time to browse through my pictures so I’m showing you this “small/mini” Tokyo:

Miniatures of the places near Tokyo Tower
I wanted to take a picture of the small Tokyo tower but my cellphone’s camera couldn’t zoom in enough.
Please see the post about these miniatures HERE.
As always, thank you very much for dropping by. Enjoy your Christmas preparations!

Photo Hunt: Long

These are just short spans of the very LONG hiking trail at the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto. This shrine is dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice. The 4km trail is covered with thousands of these orange torii (gateways), offerings made by worshippers – this explains those markings on the toriis.

Uphill

Downhill
The trail stretches to the top of the Inari-san hill. Good thing we went there early autumn last year. It took us almost 2 hours to cover the whole trail.
Here’s Kagz and Me, near the main gate of the shrine:
By the way, have you seen Memoirs of a Geisha? Remember that part where young Sayuri ran through a path covered with orange gates? That was in Fushimi Inari Taisha.
Wishing you all a very long and nice weekend. Thank you for dropping by!

Photo Hunt: Red

???? [akachan]: the Japanese word for “infant” or “baby“.
This came from the word ?? [akai], which refers to the color RED.

Shaynna after a bath when she was still reddish – at 2 weeks old.

Thank you for dropping by. Have a nice weekend!

PhotoHunt: Hot

If you’re planning to visit Osaka, don’t do it at the peak of summer. It’s really hot! I think hotter than summer in the Philippines.

PhotoHunt: Classic

Really had a hard time deciding what to post today. I got about a dozen of choices, and the word classic, has lots of synonyms!
SYDNEY: also a classical city
St. Mary’s Cathedral
Queen Victoria Building – a shopping center!

Too bad I only got this from a colleague. I only had 2 disposable cameras during my 2-month stay there! Anyway, this is one of the many reasons why I fell in love with Sydney. Beautiful classical buildings, coexisting with the modern ones.Though still unfinished, I’m inviting you to visit my other blog: Unforgettable Sydney for more pictures.Once again, thank you very much for dropping by. Will drop by your place later… but I have to sleep first. Have a nice weekend!

PhotoHunt: Pink

I’d been planning to take a picture of a ???? (karaoke) house somewhere in Osaka. Its walls, banners, and posters are all in pink! However, I’d been putting it off and it’s already Saturday! So, once again, I’m leaving you a picture of Shaynna, cuddled in her favorite comforter. She couldn’t sleep without either of her favorite comforters (the other one’s blue). Even now that she’d turned 3, she couldn’t part with her beloved comforters. ^-^

Actual date: August 2005 (I forgot again to adjust the date)

Perhaps I could post the karaoke house’s picture later. ;)
Thank you for dropping by and enjoy your weekend! ^-^
