Photohunt: Beautiful

Posted by shiera on Aug-30-2008

I’m late posting my photo hunt entry! I hope I haven’t posted these yet as photo hunt entries. :D These are 2007 spring pictures of Kyoto - my favorite place in Japan, and I think the most beautiful, too!

Happy photo hunting!

Photohunt: Wrinkled

Didn’t have time to browse through my photos, so I present you this one:  a photo of Shaynna and her great-grandmother. She’s my grandmother, my mother’s mother, and I fondly call her “Lola* Iyang“. She helped raising me up, and now, she’s also helping raising my daughter, Shaynna.  At 71 years old and wrinkled, I think she’s still beautiful and she’s the sweetest and the best grandmother in the world!

*Lola - A Filipino term for “grandma”

Shaynna loves to pose for pictures as much as she loves to play with the camera.  She took this photo with a finger covering the flash.  The only good thing about it is that it made my arms look a little bit thinner. ;)

Photohunt: Hanging

Lots of something hanging at the subway train station in Shin-Osaka. This is a bit blurry because I didn’t stop long enough to take the picture.

Here’s my usual junk food supply. I make sure that I have salty and sweet ones. (cheese sticks, curry-flavored Pringles, KitKat, chewing gum, and mochi candies).

A closer look at Japanese (mochi) candies:
