The Teotihuacan Pyramids

I cannot use any gps tracking devices because it would definitely cost me. But I was told that the Teotihuacan Pyramids is northeast of Mexico City.

One word that describes this place: amazing. When you’re in Mexico City, this is the place that you should not miss.

The Pyramid of Moon:

The Pyramid of the Sun:

Did I climb these two pyramids? No. We arrived there at almost 12 noon. I was dehydrated, hungry, and I am scared of really steep steps. It would have been better if there were railings, but there was none. I had many bad experiences with stairs so I decided not to climb alone. :P

And, let’s take a closer look at some of the smaller pyramids:

When going to the pyramids, don’t forget to take a hat (umbrella would be a lot better) and a bottle of water.

  1. I don’t blame you for not attempting the climb in the relentless Mexican heat. When I was there I didn’t go anywhere without a head covering and water. That said, I’d love to visit the Teotihuacan Pyramids, they would make a great comparison to the Egyptian Pyramids.
