I was planning to take photos when I arrive at the Benito Juárez International Airport but there was a huge crowd at the arrival area. Unlike Paris, there was no express lane and it took me a long while to go through the immigration. Fortunately, my phone’s international roaming feature was working so I was able to locate the company driver. It was Wednesday night but the traffic was bad. My first impression of Mexico City: a bit like Metro Manila. I arrived at the hotel 30 minutes after we left the airport.
The receptionists speak excellent English so I had no problem checking in. And my room at the San Isidro Corporate Housing is huge and lovely – the condominium unit I’ve always dreamed of owning.
Except for the rice cooker, the unit has everything you need to cook. It even has a dishwasher!
There’s no bath tub, but the bathroom is huge and it comes with a good hair blower.
I’ve seen in the hotel’s website that there’s a gym and sauna but after a month stay here, I have never been there. I’d love to but I’m ashamed to admit it, I don’t know how to use most gym equipment! And, what do I wear when going to the sauna? *_*
