Three Oh!

I don’t want to say it out loud. Even after almost a month of that special day, I still refuse to admit that I could no longer rightfully claim I am still in my twenties! I even opted for the above “happy birthday” candles instead of numbers, or my younger cousins could have teased me until I melted. Yes, I turned three-oh last January 9. The best thing about that day was I spent it with my family. The last time I celebrated my birthday with them was when I was still 18! It was my birthday but look who was more dressed up for the occasion:

Yes, it was my birthday but these two angels had to take their turns at blowing the candles.

i call it the twenty-10 mark. there’s really nothing to it! it’s just a number!
although i don’t hide my age, i’ve never really felt it after turning 25.

Turning thirty is not a bad thing for you. You went through three decades of intense challenges and great hope and now you are at the threshold of realizing your dreams for your kids. You should look back at all those years as years of challenges and trials you were able to overcome with the help of God. Happy Birthday to you. May you have many more blessed and abundant birthdays to come. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Wow! You really had a cake. I don’t anymore. When I’m 30, I’ll have it.

I hope you had a very happy birthday. I stop counting my age when I turned 20. So, stop counting. We stop aging at 20 too. hahaha. I wish!
