My father left us more than a year ago. It is still as painful as if it happened yesterday. I know that my mother is suffering the most, but the two children at home make her burden a lot lighter. i have come to believe that when GOD takes away something, HE replaces it with another. When my father died, my niece was conceived. I think she’s my mama’s diversion as well, though it still took a while before we get to see her in person (8 months after my father’s death, that is). When she’s born, she became my mama’s no. 1 source of joy. And I think she made it easier for mama to just accept papa’s death.
Yes, the kid’s noise breaks the deafening silence.

Its very difficult to lose someone. A newborn child cannot replace someone who has died but cab reduce the pain.
