Eyeglasses and eyebags

Have you ever noticed that people who often wear eyeglasses have bigger eyebags? Or is it just because the eyeglasses partly cover the eyebags that the eyebags become very noticeable once the eyeglasses are taken off? I have been wearing eyeglasses since I was 12 years old that I have forgotten if I have always had bigger eyebags or not.

Now that I am close to leaving the sweet sound of being in my late 20’s, I think I need to do some drastic changes to at least slow down the aging process. It is time to try applying eye cream. Though I hate to admit it, my eyebags really appear big. It is definitely the time to try getting facials. It is definitely high time I get more beauty rest. Do forgive me. Perhaps this is a part of getting-near-the-thirties anxiety.

i developed bigger eyebags when I started wearing eyeglasses. I was 14 then. I didn’t notice it until I took the glasses off and decided not to wear it anymore - when i graduated college. I also have wrinkles on the side of my eyes. real bad! i do have night eye cream but i’m not religious in applying it every night plus it irritates my eyes (making painful and teary).

I totally agree with you. I noticed eyebags as well when I looked at the mirror a week ago. I am planning to go to my optometrist to check if these eyebags are caused by using eyeglasses.
