Surprise movie, anyone?
Have you ever bought a movie ticket without knowing the title nor the genre? I have not. But I had the chance to go to the movies without any clue as to what the movie was all about.
A friend in the office got sick and she gave me her ticket to a “surprise movie”. I’m not sure if they have it in most malls here in Singapore, but my first surprise movie experience was at Plaza Singapura. I think they only have it on Tuesdays. The mall is a bit far from the office and my place, but it was worth a try.
Have you ever heard of the movie, “Fighting”? I hadn’t heard of it also, but I was still glad it was not a horror film. If it were, I would have spent the whole time covering my eyes. There were some boring parts that almost made me sleep, but all in all, it was OK. The ticket costs S$6.50 only, cheaper than the weekend price, but I think I will not try it again. The people here must really like surprises because the place was almost full…

Its a great idea, most of the movies that I have been taken to though, I wish I were blind. Terrible I know, but most movies do nothing for me nowdays.
