Purple Place

I don’t want to expose Shaynna to kid-unfriendly TV shows and computer games. But I guess she also needs to be exposed to such things. I am just so glad that she has learned self-discipline on her own.
I visited XBox website and found some family-friendly games like Ice Age! I still have no plans yet of buying her a game console. She’s still 4 years old, after all. For now, I’m glad there’s this Purple Place, a Windows Vista-packaged game. It is girlie and educational game. Basically, it improves color recognition and other artsy aspect of a child. Here are some screen shots of the game. It is very colorful, probably the reason why my Shaynna loves it.

Who doesn’t like barbie?
Might as well go ahead and get the XBox. That way you’ll have some practice before she gets good at it. When she challenges you to a game, at least you’ll have some skills.

Think its a nice game for kids at her age. But try her with some outdoor games or better let her help you bake, gardening or some stuff like that. She will learn more wonderful things than those computer games.

Doesn’t she like to play outside. The games are good for rainy days. Give her some chalk for your driveway or color outside. XBOX is for teens. You would need WII they have better games for that age. Kids that age to need to run and jump. Play catch.
