Am I really getting old?
The first video game console that I’ve ever played with was an Atari ST. I can still remember the petty fights with my younger brother due to game preferences. Then our parents bought us a Nintendo Family Computer. As expected, my brother was superior and I always end up as an underdog. So he often got to choose the kind of game. When the PlayStation 1 was released, our father brought home one, my brother hogged it all. I didn’t even get to hold the joystick once. At that time, I was into playing PC games such as The Sims and Caesar II. The playstation 3 has been released and I don’t have a single idea what kind of games I could play with it. Nor am I interested. Is this a sign of aging? I hope not…

Aging, not allowed!
In all honesty, gaming is the one, and maybe only, thing that makes me feel somewhat young and geeky. Here I am, years away from my Atari and Commodore 64 games, and still spending too much time on my Xbox.

Nice post you got here. This made my hubby reminisce his own childhood growing up with the Family Computer.
Yup, my hubby is also a gaming fanatic. He’s more inclined towards puzzles and planning games (like The Sims) rather than the famous MMORPGs and war games.
But no other game can replace Super Mario Brothers in his heart.

Yep, aging is definitely not allowed. I guess in a way, I am trying to avoid being addicted to computer games again. That time when I was crazy over The Sims, I would spend until dawn hooked into it!

Super Mario Brothers is the best. I wonder if they still have that in PS3?

Of course, it OK to play computer games. But not for me … coz self-discipline for me is out of the question. Better not start the addiction again
