Overcoming Language Barrier

I’ve worked in the current company for over a month now.  I belong to the same team and I’m still doing the same project.  As always, it’s a big feat for me to get up early in the morning and take the almost an hour travel time to the office.  The company follows a flextime and I love it.  But our team leaders in some ways encourage us to go to work.  I admit, I often suffer from imaginary nosebleeds while trying to engage in discussions.  Our leaders know only a handful of English words, and my Japanese still needs a great deal of improvement.  Just imagine how our conversations go.

I am really grateful that our leaders are very patient.  They don’t get mad when I have a hard time trying to understand what they’re saying, or when I sound like a two-year old trying hard to express what I have in mind.  They are kind enough to draw diagrams to get the idea through, while using the simplest Japanese word they could ever think of. They even tell us that we don’t have to work overtime! Yup, they’re the best.  I just hope I’ll still belong to the same team as long as I’m with the current company…

Health Supplements

What are health supplements for? What are they composed of? What are their benefits and are they in any way harmful to the body? I have never been curious about health supplements until I came across CLA. From the article I’ve read, CLA or Conjugated Linoleic Acid not only gives health benefits but it could also contribute to weight loss.  I think the good thing about CLA is it could reduce body fat and increase muscle, contrary to many diet pills.  But nothing beats exercise coupled with proper diet.  It is still the best way to lose weight but it sure demand a lot of discipline which I obviously lack. :D
