While I don't know much spanish at all, I have gone through 2 of the series, La Fea Más Bella (mexican), and the Yo soy Betty, la fea (the columbian production you mentioned). I had to have my wife guide me through them, but they were still enjoyable. I still have yet to check out the US production, Ugly Betty.
