It’s been a few years since I’ve last worn a good wrist watch. Good for me, means that it must be one of those Nautica watches or Swatch watches. But I have priorities (lots of those), so I have to put off buying my dream watch until the next year or so. The last decent one I had was a gift from my father but it’s now broken. I still have it and for its sentimental value, I want to keep wearing it. I intend to have it fixed when I have the chance to go home to the Philippines.

The watch I’m wearing now? It’s just a cheap one, it costs about US$20 only. But I like it because it’s cute and there’s a tiny beetle at the tip of the second hand. The original strap snapped so I bought a 100-yen (US$1) strap to replace it. Believe it or not, the 100-yen replacement held on longer than the original one and I’m pretty sure it’s gonna serve me for a little bit longer.
