Thank you
May 31, 2008: My father, Papa Pael, was entombed in Ma. Cristina Gardens. It was painful beyond words and I knew that part of us died, too. But life must go on.
I wanted to pretend that Papa just left to work abroad, just like what he had been doing years ago. But knowing that we’re not gonna see him again, only the thought of it seems unbearable. I know that as long as my family and I tread our paths, there’ll always be holes in our hearts.
Once again, my family and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the thoughts and prayers - the things that we need most right now. I believe in due time, we will come to accept and understand why we had to let go of someone so dear.
P.S. I am now back in Japan, despite my desire to stay longer with my family.
