What do I really want to do?

What do I really want to happen with my life?

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately and it’s a bit alarming that I really don’t know the answer to these questions.
Of course, like most people, I want good things to happen. But what are those good things? Without a specific target, I am definitely going nowhere. I’ve been running around aimlessly.

I wish I could dance like Demi Sorono. She joined the “So You Think You Can Dance” in Australia, and currently one of the final four contestants. Watching American Idol or Pinoy Idol makes me want to become a singer, and watching this video makes me wish I were a dancer!

Arnel Pineda, Charice Pempengco, and Ramiele Malubay, recently put Philippines into the world map, as some people say. Yet, another talented Filipino, Madonna Decena, stepped out and awed the judges and the audience at Britain’s Got Talent. Even the hard-to-please Simon Cowell was blown away by her amazing rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.

Everybody loves Sakura! Since I was not able to visit Arashiyama this year to see the Sakura trees, I don’t have new Arashiyama photos to share. This photo was taken last year at Arashiyama, courtesy of Idel and Kagz.

I was in my early 20’s when I “discovered” that there’s more to pasta than just tomato sauce-based spaghetti and baked macaroni. You see, my mother only prepares the spaghetti with tomato sauce and ground beef/pork. When we eat out, we don’t go to Italian restaurants (and there’s no Italian restaurant in Iligan City). We usually dig in Filipino dishes. That’s why I was and still am amazed by all the pasta variations that I find here in Japan. I hope I could get a photo of the one with a fried egg (sunny-side-up) on top. My favorite so far: all of the seafood pasta.

She’s my grandmother, so I met her when I was still a baby.

She’s one of my best friends. We may not communicate often but I know she’ll always be a good friend.

That would be sweet! A good friend and my daughter.

4. Who’s #10’s best friend?
I haven’t talked to her for years so I have no idea. Too bad…

Yup. Hundreds of times, maybe?

Terribly! She’s my baby and I haven’t seen her for over a year.

haha! I really have no idea.

The best mother in the whole world.

I haven’t met Elaine personally but I bet she’s sweet and kind. I wish to meet her personally when I have the chance.
