On Medical Careers
I have been asked a few times, especially by some relatives, why I hadn’t took up a medical course. Or, if I’m planning to follow some of friends and gear towards a medical career.
My answer to both questions: I’m scared of seeing (lots of) blood, and I usually panic at the sight of a nasty wounds. I know anyone could get used to these given more exposure, but I just can’t. However, I do want someone in the family to take up a medical course because nobody did. The reason being the spiraling cost of medical school fees.
If given the capacity to send someone to a medical school, I would definitely make sure that he/she gets the best medical training there is. With the increasing demand for medical professionals, the number of institutions that offer medical training is also rising. This gives us a harder time giving a harder time which institution could best cater our needs.
Thankfully, many medical training information are now available in the internet. You can even enroll in an online medical career training school!
