Warning: This entry is for ladies only.
I’m not going to mention anything yucky but I’m just overly self-conscious. ^-^
Usually, I couldn’t leave home without the following things: umbrella, tissues, lip gloss, scrunchies, cellphone, ID, pens, wallet, train tickets, hankie, comb, candies, bandages, medicines, and some girlie stuff.
If I bring a bigger bag, I place the smaller things inside a pouch. But if I take a smaller bag, I just dump everything inside, minus the pouch. My clumsiness combined with the chaos inside my bag causes many embarrassing incidents, like what happened a few hours ago…
I got off the train and was on my way to the bike parking so I groped inside my bag for my bike keys. When I felt it, I just pulled it out and out of the corner of my eye I noticed something flying out from my bag. Too late.. a pantie shield landed about 1 meter from me. Too bad its cover doesn’t have any floral print… Too bad there were still so many people around me. I had no other choice but to pick it up as fast as I could.
Lessons learned:
1. Always place those “sensitive” stuff inside a small pouch
2. Don’t just dump everything inside the bag

Grace’s entry reminds me of a New Year’s day celebration with my relatives held at our house. I insisted on 100% alcohol-free party. Please, let me explain first (defensive ^^). Normally, I don’t drink alcohol but I don’t make a fuss about other people drinking. However, I made an exception that time. Present in that party were two uncles who are “very very fond of alcohol”. But at that time, one just had dialysis and the other one also had serious kidney problems. Despite the doctor’s warning and the pain they went through, not to mention the financial difficulties it caused, they still kept on getting drunk. So after the Media Noche (family midnight meal), we gathered in the sala (living room) to start our videoke session. But both of them kept on hinting they wanted their favorite drinks. So, to shut them up, I gave them bags of lollipops! You should have seen how funny all of my relatives (young and old) looked: nibbling their lollipops while waiting for their turn to grab the mic! Plus, I was able to show them that parties could be fun with just lollipops and softdrinks.
I miss my Uncle Sonny (one of those two I mentioned above). He passed away last year, not because of kidney failure, but of brain cancer. I hated to see him always drunk but he’s still a very good and a cheerful person.

I went to Namba again this afternoon, but this time, with Lu. We agreed to meet in Namba station and since I’m “more familiar”with the place, I gave her instructions on how to go to our meeting place. I thought it was a piece of cake but it took us more than 30 minutes to find each other! She took a different exit and I had no idea how to go to her location because she already roamed a bit far from the station. Anyways, thanks to my phone plan that I was able to call her without worrying about my phone bill.

I was crazy about you and I came to live my daily life with a doze of you. When I decided to detach my self from you, it required a great amount of determination. I have been crazy about you and avoiding you proved to be much harder. But curiosity got the best of me and once again I associated myself with you. I knew I shouldn’t have at least taken a look at you. Now, all you’re giving me is misery. But it’s too late… I am once again addicted to you.
Warning: Don’t watch Pinoy Big Brother while Wendy and Bruce are still around or you might be tempted to inflict damage on your computer or TV. I stayed at home because my stomach wasn’t cooperating and I failed to control myself from taking a look at PBB videos in youtube. Now, I am greatly affected by the behavior of these two! he he he. Anyways, it’s a relief because I know they will be evicted on Saturday. ^-^

Namba: one of the places in Osaka I never dared exploring alone. I’m really afraid of getting lost especially in the underground maze they call subway station. I’ve been to Namba before with some friends but we usually walk through the shopping street (商店街) from Honmachi.
However, a friend from the Philippines asked me to find some second-hand electronic items and there’s no better place where you could find these in Osaka: Den Den Town in Namba. So armed with my limited Nihongo and my not-so-dependable instinct, I took the train to Namba. With the help of a train station staff, the maps they place outside the subway station, and mostly my instinct ^-^, I reached Den Den Town with few detours! Finding my way home was a piece of cake. he he
I’m just overjoyed because I have been dependent on others in getting to other places. Trying it all alone definitely means getting lost! ^0^

I’ve been struggling these past few years… and still fighting to break free from these shackles. But why can’t I see a ray hope when these children still can? Looking at them, it’s really a shame to even say that I am suffering…

About a month of using PC on my lap… then a friend “found” a tatami table somewhere… nine (9) months using the laptop cross-legged or with stretched legs; at times using the wall as my back support.
Alas! I just found a
normal table that costs 500 yen from an ad in
http://www.kansaiscene.com/ posted by a guy who’s going back to Sweden and he’s selling his things. He’s living in in Kobe so I had to carry the table to the train station. When I reached Osaka (
Osaka to Kobe is about 30 minutes by special rapid train), I was hopeful I could carry the table with my bicycle but it was impossible. So I had to drag the table again from the station to our apartment, which is about a kilometer apart! I almost hailed a taxi because the thing was heavy! Miraculously, I reached our apartment but I ached all over. But the muscle pain’s worth it! I saved around 2,000 yen and now, I am using my PC like I used to. ^-^
The chair is another (muscle) painful story. ^-^
